Updated: Yahoo Scuttles Yahoo Mobile in Favor of iPhone

Yahoo has announced that it is scuttling its Yahoo Mobile app platform in favor of developing more applications for the iPhone, TechCrunch is reporting. The company said that for all other phones, Yahoo will focus on the mobile browser experience rather than continuing to issue native app after native app, and presumably, stop reorganizing its mobile division every five minutes.
